负的社会使命而积极开展相关经营活动。

Last year witnessed electric power shortages for Japan in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and

resulting nuclear power plant accident, major damage from the massive flooding in Thailand and other

disas-ters. These developments caused severe confusion for the supply chain, leading to extensive hindrances in the

business activities of a tremendous number of companies. That situation was further aggravated by the sharp

appreciation of the yen, dealing a stiff blow to domestic Japanese companies and accelerating the overseas shift

in production operations. Ryoden Trading Co., Ltd. responded to this highly demanding landscape with an

exten-sive range of measures designed to minimize the impact on its business. Keen efforts were likewise channeled

into achieving a swift and precision grasp of the major changes in direction and needs currently coming to pass,

and otherwise moving to surmount the challenges at hand.

Last year, I emphasized two main aspects of Ryoden environmental activities. The first targeted a concerted

push to expand the environmental system business, rooted in the watchwords of “Energy Conservation,”

“Photo-voltaic Power Generators” and “Security.” That vision was accompanied by the fielding of a product lineup fully

manifesting new technology and quality procurement clout to satisfy the environmental requirements of our

many customers. The second aspect involved the push to forge a management structure keyed to the deployment

of systems to control the chemical substance content in products to our overseas bases as well. This underscored

the desire to effectively deal with environmental needs within the scope of the global supply chain.

This year, we are determined to further spiral up these activities. In the Environmental system business, the

mission is to establish, advance and expand systems promoting the supply of potent environmental solutions. To

stay abreast of the rising state of global environmental awareness and meet the needs of the environmental

busi-ness, an environmental management system will be introduced in our overseas subsidiaries. With that, we are

embarking on the quest to engineer a system ensuring seamless business management with our operations back

in Japan.

Putting these initiatives into action, Ryoden will continue to boldly promote corporate activities in support of

our transformation into a genuine “global solution provider.” We are confident that such activities hold the key

to helping pass on a sound and fertile global environment to the next generation.

All of our members understand Ryoden’s behavior principles and management

principles, which stress the importance of CSR, and we cooperate to carry out

our work. Further, we are aware that doing so meets the needs of Ryoden’s

stakeholder. In order to achieve this, Ryoden continuously revises and improves

its internal organization as well as its rules and regulations in response to social

changes and engages in sustainable business activities.

Based on the awareness that we share the environment with the people who will

live here in the future, our desire is to leave the environment in a better state for

the next generation to inherit. This report was created with that desire in mind in

order to honestly present the business and environmental activities that occur

every day at Ryoden and share the environmental activities we will carry out in the

future.

Technical terms have been avoided as much as possible in order to make it easy

to understand the state of Ryoden’s activities.

We will continue to listen to the opinions of our stakeholders and engage in

socially responsible business activities.

去年,东日本大地震和核电站事故带来的供电不足、以及泰国洪水等大规模自然灾害的发生导致了供

应链的混乱,并严重阻碍了各企业经营活动的顺利开展。再加上日元的急剧升值,日本国内各企业受到严重

打击,进一步加速了产品生产向海外转移的步伐。本公司同样采取了各种相应对策,力争将形势对经营活动

的影响降低到最小限度,同时还做到迅速且准确地掌握当前发展的巨大方向转换或需求变化,将主要精力集

中于相应的经营活动。

本公司去年的环境活动视点主要放在了

个方面。首先在促进以节能、太阳能发电、安全为关键词的

环境系统发展的同时,以发挥了新技术和质量管理效果的产品阵容,满足多方用户的环境需求。其次,进一

步构建包括将产品所含化学物质管理系统向海外转移项目在内的管理体制,力争在全球供应链中切实满足环

境相关需求。

今年,我们还将促进该些活动的进一步发展,使其犹如螺旋般更上一个高度。环境系统事业将会建立

推进提供环境解决方案的体制,并不断改善和扩充。另一方面,在本公司海外子公司引进环境管理系统,着

手构筑可与日本国内紧密合作开展经营活动的体制,以应对全球性环境意识的高涨及环境经营需求。

我们将切实做好上述工作,积极开展以成为“全球解决方案服务提供商”为目标的企业活动。

and service that are considered for environment. Also we

make much effort toward reducing the environmental load

by our operation, managing chemical substances, and

We thoroughly inform Environmental Basic

Philosophy and Environmental Policy to all employees

and all people mainly engaged to Ryoden. And we

carry out education and enlightenment for all

employees to recognize and implement this.

Environmental Policy will be reviewed regularly and

revised in case of need.

We inform our policy and related information to our

supplier / subcontractor / subsidiary, and then we get

their understanding and cooperation.

经营概要

中国等新兴国家目前依然持续经济回升的趋势,而发达国家则由于受到欧洲财政问题所带来的金融市场混乱、以及财政紧缩的影响而走向低迷,近年来 的经济前景始终处于不透明状态。日本经济也受到东日本大地震的影响,众多企业纷纷面临生产停滞、出口减少、日元升值的困境,但自该年度后半期 起,已停滞的日本国内企业的生产和出口项目等开始逐步恢复,经济出现了缓缓复苏的好兆头。

与本公司集团贸易相关的企业也因震灾引起的混乱而受到了供应链被阻断等严重影响,而面向新兴国家的设备投资需求成为该些企业的坚强后盾,使他 们顺利地走出了困境。但是,长期的日元升值依然阻碍了出口的步伐,半导体或数字家电生产厂家正迫于新兴国家的急剧发展而经历着一场艰辛的苦 战,企业结构的改革迫在眉睫。在这种形势下,本公司集团进一步强化了供应链管理体制、以及技术能力、供应和质量管理能力、事业创造力等商社功 能,不断完善全球性的企业战略,为下一个飞跃作出了努力。

以下为经营成果。

● FA系统

虽然震灾对产品供应造成了影响,但6月份之后即恢复了供应,中国 等新兴国家对半导体、液晶显示器相关生产装置以及相关工作设备的 需求依然看好,使企业收入大幅度增加。

●冷热设备

由于受到震灾、以及泰国洪水灾害的影响,产品供应受到了阻碍,但 通过打开太阳能发电等环保商品销路、以及专注于市场重建等措施, 使企业收入大幅度增加。

● 大厦系统

虽然震灾对产品供应造成了影响,但6月份之后已经恢复正常,并获 得了大幅度的增收。

● 信息通信设备

将主要视点集中在为医疗机构的信息设备等打开销路,但由于主力商 品显示器的需求等日益减少,使企业收入大幅度减少。

● FA・环境系统事业相关子公司

大型物件的订购使企业收入大幅度增加。

● 由于震灾导致的供应链混乱、加之电力不足迫使数字家电相关厂家等主

要客户进入生产调整期,主要供应商的生产设备所遭受的灾害对产品 供应造成了严重影响,使企业的年度前半期陷入低迷状态。

进入年度后半期后,虽然也受到了欧洲财政紧缩以及泰国洪水灾害的 影响,但汽车相关市场的急速复原等使得企业收入获得了回升。

●海外子公司

汽车相关产品、以及 OA 设备专用电子零配件畅销于以中国为中心的 亚洲市场,使企业获得了增收。

●由于震灾影响,使得主要客户进入生产调整期,虽然汽车相关产品在新 年后呈现复原的趋势,但工业设备相关市场的走势依然不乐观,使得企 业收入减少。

In the consolidated fiscal year ending March 31, 2012, the global economy was in disarray as uncertainly about its future direction continued. Although the economies of China and other emerging countries continued to expand, the economies of advanced economies faltered under the pressure of the turmoil in financial markets caused by the sovereign debt problem in Europe and tightening of fiscal policies. Japan’ s economy showed signs of a mild recovery in the second half from the stagnation in domestic production and decline in exports resulting from the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake disaster and the strong yen becoming an established trend.

Business sectors that affect the Ryoden Trading Group were substantially influenced by the turmoil caused by the major earthquake disaster, such as the disruption of supply chains. Nevertheless, these sectors made a steady recovery during the fiscal year under review with the support of robust capital investment in the recovery effort. However, semiconductor and consumer electronics manufacturers are being pressed to implement business structural reform. These reforms are in response to struggling with intensifying competition because of the rapid advances being made by their counterparts in emerging countries.

Amid this economic climate, the Ryoden Trading Group proceeded with its global strategy, headed toward the Group’ s next leap forward. In the middle year of its three-year mid-term management plan, the Group aimed to further strengthen its trading company functions, such as its supply chain management (SCM) system and technology, procurement and quality control, and business creation capabilities.

The results of these efforts are as follows.

● Factory Automation Systems

Although product procurement was affected by the earthquake, supply recovered in June, with demand for semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment and machine tools from China and other emerging nations growing steadily, leading to a drastic growth in revenue.

● Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

In addition to the earthquake, the flooding in Thailand also hindered product procurement. However, focusing on the renewal market and expanding sales for environmental products such as solar power lead to an increase in revenue. ● Building Systems

Although, product procurement was affected by the earthquake, it recovered in June, leading to a drastic growth in revenue.

● Data communications

Although we focused on expanding sales of information systems and other devices for medical institutions, demand for our flagship monitors decreased, leading to a drastic decrease in revenue.

● Factory Automation & Environmental Systems Subsidiaries

Orders for large items helped lead to a drastic growth in revenue.

● In addition to supply chain interruptions caused by the earthquake and adjustments in production by principle clients involved in digital home appliances and other industries due to the electricity shortage, the damage to principle suppliers’ production facilities influenced product procurement, leading to poor performance in the first half of the fiscal year.

In the second half of the fiscal year, in spite of the influence of the financial problems in Europe and flooding in Thailand, we were supported by the rapid recovery in the automobile sector, leading to an increase in revenue.

● Overseas subsidiaries

Sales of electronic components for automobiles and office automation equipment in Asia and especially China grew favorable, leading to an increase in revenue.

● Principle clients made adjustments in their production due to the earthquake. Since the beginning of the year, although the automobile industry recovered, the market for industrial equipment was slow, leading to a decrease in revenue.

海外经销企业获取ISO14001认证状况

二氧化碳等温室效应气体引起气候变化问题、氮氧化物

等影响造成大气污染 ・ 酸雨、氟利昂破坏臭氧层、伐木

等原因导致森林毁坏及沙漠化等。。。地球上正在发生着

全球规模的环境问题,国际会议上就解决该些问题的对

策进行了探讨。伴随这种全球性环境意识的高涨,客户的

环境相关需求也在日益增长,形势要求我们具有一个全

球范围的解决对策。

本公司为了满足该些客户的需求,包括所有海外经销企

业在内的菱电商事集团将通过全球性的环境管理系统,

获取 ISO14001 的全球认证。为了实现这一目标,我们

将在海外经销企业逐步普及已在国内获得认证的环境管

理系统。

已被编入环境管理系统的海外经销企业将实施与国内完

全同等的管理。换句话来说,即环境相关管理将从以往的

独立管理转换为全球性的统一管理体制。

Our goal is the global acquisition of ISO 14001

certification so that overseas distributors can be managed

seamlessly and identically to domestic offices in Japan.

Climate change induced by CO2 and other greenhouse gasses; air pollution and acid rain caused by nitrogen oxide; ozone layer

destruction induced by CFCs; deforestation and desertification caused by lumbering – environmental problems are occurring on a

global scale and the response to each is being debated in international conferences. In line with this increasing awareness of the

global environment and reflected in customers’ environmental needs as well, there is a growing demand for a global response to

this issue.

In order to meet the needs of our clients, the Ryoden Trading Group will employ a global environmental management system that

includes all of our overseas distributors and acquire global ISO 14001 certification. In order to realize this goal, we will gradually

expand our domestic environmental management system to our overseas distributors.

REACH 法则是欧盟 (EU) 成员国制定的化学品监管体

履行的注册 (Registration) 和评估 (Evaluation) 义务、

对于可能影响环境的化学物质 ( 高度关注物质 /SVHC)

必须获取认可 (Authorisation)、对于高度风险性物质必

须实施禁止等限制 (Restriction)。

Environmental Information Exchange Meeting

环境交流会

The valuable information we have gained through our first

information exchange meeting with manufacturers will

useful in our future activities.

Ryoden Trading’ s has been engaging in environmental activities for over 10 years including FY

2011 and, to help stimulate future activities, we proposed and conducted an environmental

information exchange meeting at Mitsubishi Electric’s Sagami Office on April 20.

Although we have held information exchange meetings with fellow trading companies, this was

the first time we held such a meeting with a manufacturer. It was our first time learning about the

environmental activities of a business other than a trading company. We believe that what we

learned and experienced in this meeting will be useful in our future activities.

截至 2011 年度,本公司的环境活动已走过了 10 个年头,为了使今后的活动更加活跃,我

们向三菱电机株式会社相模事务所提议召开环境交流会以供参考,会议于 4 月 20 日顺利

召开。

以前也曾在同行业 ( 商社 ) 间召开过交流会,但与厂家之间的交流会还属首次。接触同行业

以外的环境活动也是首次。我们希望将交流会中体验和感受到的经验等作为参考,有效地用

于今后的活动中。

我们亲自参观了工厂内以环保为中心的环境设备 ( 即幕后

英雄 ),相模事务所开展的环境活动中,相关依法活动数量

之多着实令人惊讶。

1. 使用多种设备开展环境活动,以防止大气、土壤、水

质污染。

①废水处理后的水经过净化后有 70% 得到再利用,剩余

的 30% 排放至公用下水道。

②清除排水中的金属成分:被清除的金属一般采用有价

( 作为商品 ) 处理方式。

根据市场价格的变化,有时会作为废弃物处理,这种

 情况下也都得到妥善处理。

③PCB 的保管:保管的所有 PCB 上均贴有标签 ( 有详

细内容记载 )。

令人感受到坚持妥善处理的姿态。

④废弃物:彻底按排放部门分门别类进行管理,数据清晰。

2. 为达到目的、实现目标所采取的日常对策

①削减二氧化碳的排放:建立电力数据收集系统,并在

企业内网公布,可即时掌握各据点的用电量,有效促进

了削减活动的开展。

引进太阳能发电系统,由此削减二氧化碳的排放。

②削减水资源投入量:通过水资源的再利用建立循环系

统,由此削减投入量。

③废弃物零排放:使最终处理量达到零。

彻底进行分门别类,将垃圾转换为资源。

3. 今后的环境活动目标

首先,厂家应将众多的依法项目切实列入到环境活动中。

本公司活动中的废弃物相关活动为依法活动,该活动已

在切实执行。其他依法项目中不存在跨场所活动,正在各

场所切实执行。

参考了相模事务所的活动后,对于作为目的、目标的环境

活动,本公司在办公室环保方面需要管理的项目众多,综

合来说应该为“ 削减二氧化碳 ”和“ 削减废弃物 ”2 个

项目。

其次,应进一步搞活作为商社环境活动特征的环保产品

推销活动。其中,对于在实施方法、实施期限等改善措施

方面与本公司的差异、以及成功达标的成果都令人深有

感触。在本公司的环境活动中,今后我们也将带着势必达

标的信念积极开展相关活动。

We studied actual conservation-focused environmental

facilities within their plant and were surprised by how many of

the environmental activities at the Sagami office were related to

legal compliance.

1 . S e v e r a l f a c i l i t i e s w e re b e i n g u s e d t o p re v e n t

atmospheric, soil, and water pollution.

70% of post effluent treated water is reused after

purification, with the remaining 30% released into the public

sewer system.

Removal of metals from drainage water: Metal removed from

drainage water is regularly treated as valuable (as a product).

Although occasionally disposed of as waste depending on

market price fluctuations, it is always properly disposed of.

Storage of PCB: Labels (containing detailed information) are

attached to all stored PCB.

It is clear they are preparing for its proper disposal.

Waste: Thoroughly separated, with data maintained on

which duty station it came from.

2. Everyday Actions to Achieve Targets and Objectives

electricity usage, enabling the real-time display of electricity

usage at each location, which is put to use in CO

Water usage reduction: They created a recycling system to

reuse water, reducing water usage.

Zero waste emission: They are working to reduce the

amount of final disposal waste to zero.

They thoroughly separate waste and treat it as a resource

rather than garbage.

3. Future Environmental Activities

Many of the regulations concerning manufacturers involve the

thorough execution of environmental activities. For Ryoden

Trading, these regulations mainly concern waste, but they are

thoroughly conformed to. Although there are no regulations

spanning every location, each location thoroughly conforms to

the regulations affecting it.
